A full facelift isn’t the only facial rejuvenation option. Some patients can achieve their aesthetic goals with a midface lift, which provides a more subtle outcome and a refreshed, rejuvenated look that lasts longer than what can be achieved with injectables.
Recovery and results
A mid facelift requires approximately one week of recovery time, although this can vary depending on the techniques used. You will need to avoid strenuous activities and intense exercise for three weeks, and you may also need to sleep on your back during recovery. We will discuss recovery details further with you during your consultation with us.
Because a mid facelift is less invasive than a full facelift, results are often visible sooner because there is less swelling and bruising. Although you’ll most likely be ready to be seen in 1-3 weeks, final results are usually apparent at 2-3 months.
After your mid facelift in Bryn Mawr, you’ll look better for the rest of your life than you would if you’d never had the surgery. However, this is not to say that new signs of aging won’t develop. Wrinkles and loose skin will eventually reappear years after facial surgery, but you will always look better with the surgery than without.
